On 31 March there were classes in which we are acquainted with the concept of the mirror.
Optical Mirror, mirror - smooth surface with less inequality than the wavelength of light. For this reason, the mirror minimally scatters the light, reflecting the greater part of it. Formerly of the mirror done by polishing the metal, was later brought under control technology imposed on the surface of the glass thin metallic layer (usually silver) by chemical methods. Currently, the mirror is produced by vacuum vapor deposition on glass with a thin layer of metal (usually aluminum).
types of mirrors:
Due to the shape of the surface of the mirror is divided into
* * flat concave (focusing)
* raised (distracting)
Due to the nature of curvature of concave and convex mirror is divided into:
* spherical / spherical
* *
cylindrical parabolic (paraboloidal)
* Hyperbolic (hiperboloidalne)
* other (with the area described by the equations of higher order, or irregular)
