Reviewing a recent Internet auction I came across a rarity for me. Well, I managed to acquire the early release of the album Face Value which was issued by the native compression NIMBUS in the UK. According to my understanding this issue could arise the first few months of mills NIMBUS , and certainly there were more than I have already held subsequent pressing Nimbus . I'm not sure, but it seems to me that this might be the turn of the 1984/1985 edition .

album does not have a bar code. The entire booklet is in the same form as described above edition. Mastering the album also is the same, one would like to write a mirror. this signature have a very early release albums that were pressed in mills NIMBUS probably until 1985. Later NIMBUS applied to become Mastered NIMBUS, which moreover is used today.

can not assess the value of the album, because mine was bought from a dealer, who in general had no idea what sells. Just wanted to get rid of the "old records" and sold them at a price of 0.99 pound.

For fans of Collins, for collectors rarity. Circulation edition had to be small, since as early as the end of 1985 were available pumping Face Value with a Mastered by Nimbus . Album in good condition, has signs of use, but they are not serious damage.
