Stretch Marks St Ives

January 10 - again in Athens, Delphi

Since yesterday we are back in Athens - the use of hospitality Nanda and her husband, Theo.
Yesterday, the latest projection on the tape before returning to Athens yet visited Mycenae and Nemea.
Mycenae - Well ... The truth is that watching a pile of stones. Large impressive gates with carved over its entrance lions - but the rest requires a lot of imagination. Not deny that this is definitely a place of great importance - but more of an impression made on me so Olimpia. Tibor says it's because you left Mycenae at the end, when the monuments, the ancient and the newer naoglądaliśmy the bunches. Probably has a little wrong.

In Nemea, due to the near cessation of excavations (in the winter, all were open only to 15) - we had to choose : enter the stadium or watch Zeus temple ruins and a bath plus a museum. We chose the latter. On site you can see that further excavations in progress - the trees looked funny: the whole area as a result of exploration and excavation have fallen - but circles around trees left untouched land. You can see through it was that was taken off safely from the meter of the earth.

Nemea

Auto we only have until tomorrow - so we use as long as possible: objeżdżaliśmy Attica today: we were in Marathon, we ate a delicious lunch in the port town of Rafina. This dinner was pyszniejszy that, as befitted the port, tavernas specialize in a variety of dishes from fish and seafood. Ordered future course was bought up to date on the stands located next to the pubs, shown to the customer and after approval trafiało to the kitchen in order to further processing. My skusiliśmy the fried squid and sardines. I was afraid to respond to these dishes boys - but we both ate until they were trembling ears:)

Rafina - we took a a break to collect pebbles

who fish! whom octopus!

finished the day at Cape Saunion the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon watch the sunset.
The guide I read that one of the columns Byron carved his signature - yes, the poet.
Tibor said that it unfair: if he did, it would clamor that the vandal. And how did Byron - immediately write about it in the guide.
