Therefore, people exhibiting myopia, to better see objects close to the eye. Hence the name - myope. Correction of myopia is done by means of glasses with lenses scattering.


Myopia - present close to the point is very far and usually it does not even exist and then the eye can not see any sharp objects. Focus of the optical system of the eye is far behind the retina. So call this defect "farsightedness" is very misleading because a person can not see well either close or distant objects. Therefore, the Polish ophthalmologists do not call this defect "foresight" but hyperopic. It is then always focusing glasses. The cause of this condition may be congenital too short antero-posterior axis (mainly in children) or too weak, the ability of focusing the lens through reducing its flexibility. This defect is corrected by focusing lenses.

3.02.2011r Day. in class we talked about optical illusions. We learned how a mirage phenomenon and what role it plays in temperature.

Observations:
Immersed part of the bottle is invisible. This is because the refractive indices of glass and glycerol are very similar.

Conclusions:
speed with which light moves in certain types of glass is the same as in the glycerol. Experiment 2


Subject: oil light smuggler.

Observations:
Lighting the spot light from the wall is much more intense than when it passes through dry paper.

Conclusions:
dry piece retaining part of the light rays. Oil, however, entering the paper fibers creates small translucent light permeable cracks. Experiment 3

Topic Experiment 1: Effect of flying coins.

Observations: Observed
coin after adding water to the bottom of the vessel appears to be larger and located closer to the surface.
Conclusions: This phenomenon occurs
because rays reflected from the coin is bent during passage through the border of water and air. Experiment 2

Observations:
spoon seemed to be the most articulated in the water, which was dissolved in 3 teaspoons of salt.
Conclusions: Light runs from the spoon, and before getting into the eye of the observer collapses the border between two media: water and air. It runs from the denser medium to rarer medium. Experiment 3
