On 25 November there were classes in which the three experiments done in connection with the concepts: polarization, the right Brewster'a, an electromagnetic wave.
Experiment 1
Subject: Polarization of light.
Observations:
light falls on the first polarizer, which transmits only part of the wave expanding in the vertical plane. If it comes through the second polarizer, whose slots are perpendicular to the first slot.
Conclusions: Light
there was no screen.
Experiment 2 Subject: Determination of the concentration of the solution using the phenomenon of polarization of light.
Observations:
angle of the plane of polarized light increased after passage of light through the solution of higher concentration.
Conclusions: Sprains
plane of polarization is proportional to the concentration of the solution.
Topic Experiment 3: Preparation of a completely polarized light.
Observations:
By changing the angle of incidence of light on glass light after reflection from the windows did not pass through a polarizer.
Conclusions:
light is completely polarized.
